At Brandon Hall School, using the United Nations 17 Goals for Sustainable Development, Entrepreneurial design models, and Leadership Theory as a foundation, our students immerse themselves in summer and academic year programs that push them to make an impact. Through a rigorous, varied, and experiential curriculum, students pursue their "passion projects" and entrepreneurial ideas with the guidance of experts from the corporate, non-profit, social service, and Consular sectors.

San Diego State University: Creative Mind Academy

The Creative Mind Academy (CMA) is a Summer institute for high school students in grades 11 and 12 from the US and all over the world premiering in summer 2022. Over the course of 4 weeks, students complete 6 transferable college units at San Diego State University’s (SDSU) beautiful campus. Programming consists of theory-based, and hands-on courses that prioritize experiential learning and creative expression. The program includes housing, meals, and memorable excursions.  If you're interested in acting, coding for creatives, comics and graphic novels, film, leadership and debate, music production, musical theatre, or social media and digital entrepreneurship, come check out our programs.

University of Maryland, Terp Young Scholars 

Prepare for college through rigorous academics and dynamic instruction with the University of Maryland Terp Young Scholars program. Alongside other academically talented high school students, you’ll get a jump on college by earning three university credits. The Terp Young Scholars program is open to rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors from across the United States and around the world. During three unforgettable weeks, students will pursue academic interests; study with exceptional faculty, and engage in creative problem solving with equally talented peers.
