United States Senate Youth Application is Now Open for Juniors and Seniors - Due to State Coordinator on October 7th

The 2022-2023 United States Senate Youth Program Application is due October 7, 2022. The application is open to all high school juniors and seniors in Georgia, provided they meet the qualifications listed below and secure signatures from their principal and school counselor. Applications are no longer limited to one student per school district. School counselors/USSYP coordinators who receive requests for the application should direct them to the application at gadoe.org/USSYP

Qualifications:

Must have served in an elected or appointed position representing a constituency during the current (2022-2023) school year.

Will be attending high school in Georgia through spring 2023The week of March 4-11, 2023 , selected students will be required to completely block the timeframe and attend all events in order to serve as delegates and receive the scholarship.

Must have proof of U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residence (this is a requirement of the national program).
