The Annual Women in IT Symposium (WIT) celebrates women's history month with a virtual conference that brings professional women in IT, minorities, and students together through an interactive virtual platform featuring professional keynote speakers, engaging panels, and networking opportunities for future IT professionals. This one-day virtual symposium is designed to empower women in the IT field and to connect, inspire and create opportunities for the advancement of women in the IT field. This year's theme is centered on female MGA alumnae who are successful in the IT field to provide their experiences with aspiring IT professionals.
The Middle Georgia State University Center for Cybersecurity Education and Applied Research (CCEAR) is leading the path for cybersecurity education in the Middle Georgia area. Middle Georgia State University CCEAR has committed itself to providing a quality education to students and members of the community. CCEAR provides research in the key cybersecurity areas of information assurance, computer network security, digital forensics, cryptography, risk assessment and mitigation, disaster recovery and management, security regulations and compliance, and information security management.
